Thanks to its expertise, our dental practice also offers corporate oral health conferences to professionals from all sectors, in the Lyon region and the rest of mainland France.

This is an opportunity to communicate about the little-known (yet widespread) dental disease that is periodontitis, which also has an impact on numerous chronic pathologies (diabetes, heart disease, stress…), and to promote prevention.

Why promote preventive oral health care in the workplace?

Mini-conferences on oral health prevention have the advantage of raising employees’ awareness of this issue and providing them with information they are often unaware of.

The prevention of periodontitis is particularly important, since it is estimated that this pathology affects almost 50% of the world’s population, and is responsible for 75% of tooth loss (source: Société Française de Parodontologie et d’Implantologie Orale).

In our view, the workplace is the ideal place to address this issue, as many companies offer their employees supplementary health insurance. The fact that dental expenses are recognized as one of the most important items by these same complementary health insurance plans is, in our opinion, sufficiently telling to justify a prevention campaign.

Many people are reluctant to go to the dentist, and tend to downplay symptoms they consider “normal”, such as bleeding gums, which most French people have already experienced, but which can have serious consequences if the inflammation is not treated in time.

Based on the principle that knowledge allows you to react and implement the right measures for better care, Studio Paro offers companies the opportunity to call on the expertise of its periodontal dentists for in-company presentations on the theme of oral health.

How does Studio Paro work with companies?

Dental prevention conferences take place directly on the company premises, and are led by one or more specialists from the Studio Paro periodontology practice in Lyon. Each session lasts an average of 30 minutes.

The session can be adapted to suit your needs, including a question-and-answer session between our team and your employees.

Studio Paro: the fruit of over 22 years of expertise

Studio Paro may have been founded in 2021, but our dental practice specializing in periodontics has its origins in 1996, when Dr. Hervé Touati trained in periodontics and met Dr. Charon.

Three years later, he founded Studio Dentaire in Lyon’s 3rd arrondissement, in the heart of the Part-Dieu district, which he still runs today, and for which he set up a periodontal care protocol with Mina Ksibi. What’s special about their method? A holistic approach to oral health, in which the patient plays an active role in his or her own treatment, and customized follow-up over time to ensure that the benefits of treatment are felt for as long as possible.

The year 2019 saw the arrival of two young practitioners, Dr Romane Touati and Dr Gokhan Yilmaz, and the idea of a dedicated periodontics facility was soon born, all the more so as the number of requests in this area was rising sharply.

Studio Paro was born of this energy and the desire to offer the best possible support to patients in dental pain, thanks to recognized expertise and a human approach.
